Jane Austen by Katie Benson

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a crafter in possession of a good idea, must be in want of some paper!

You don't need to be Elizabeth Bennet to fall in love with this Regency style dress inspired by the work of Jane Austen. Made from the very pages of her novel, Pride and Prejudice, it's the perfect cut for when Mr. Darcy finally makes his intentions known!

This paper dress was created as part of an art display showcasing Table Setting Is My Life's handcrafted paper products. We partnered with Red Bank's Frame to Please to transform their charming kiosk into a boutique gallery. The display will be up until May 31, 2015 in Red Bank's Galleria on Bridge Avenue and West Front Street.

Opening Party for the Kiosk Display

Coming off the heels of Red Bank’s most successful Wedding Walk, local artist Katie Benson, Creative Director of Table Setting Is My Life, has partnered with Frame To Please, full service framing shop with over 30 years of experience, to turn their Red Bank Galleria kiosk into your next themed party. Decorated as a quaint French pop up, the kiosk will be home to 1950’s style aprons for adults, costume aprons for children, wedding centerpieces made from paper flowers and more. All items are customizable and perfect for your next bridal shower, children’s party or family get-together. All are invited to view her theatrical showcase now through May 31 at The Galleria in Red Bank. Portion of the proceeds will go to Save U.S. Pets.
