Berry Patriotic Strawberry Mojito

Berry Patriotic Strawberry Mojito

Ingredients

1 ounce of simple syrup

Four fresh strawberries

6 fresh mint leaves

1 ounce of fresh lime juice

2 ounces of light rum

3 ounces of club soda

Directions

1. In a chilled glass, muddle the simple syrup, strawberries, and mint leaves together. If you do not have a muddler, the back of a spoon works just as well. Macerate the strawberries and mint leaves. 

2. Stir in the lime juice and rum. Fill the glass with crushed ice and top off the glass with club soda. Stir gently and garnish with mint or strawberry slices.
