Soaring to New Heights: The Third Annual TRT Paper Airplane Competition

August 24, 2023 marked another thrilling chapter in the beloved tradition of the Two River Theater's Paper Airplane Competition. Back in the lobby and bustling with anticipation, this year's event was a fantastic celebration of creativity, fun, and friendly competition.

Collectible Pilot Badges and New Award Ribbons

This year, I introduced updated pilot badges, which have become a sought-after collectible item among participants. Each badge was uniquely designed to commemorate the event and symbolize the camaraderie we all share. Additionally, I crafted special award ribbons for the winners, adding an extra touch of celebration and recognition.

Here's a look at the winners who took home the honors this year. Winner: Angela soared to victory with her expertly crafted paper airplane. Best Crash: Congratulations to Gwen, whose spectacular crash brought laughter and applause from the crowd. Her creative design met an unexpected fate, but it was certainly memorable! Honorable Mention: A special nod goes to Kyle, whose paper airplane made headlines last year by getting stuck in the ceiling—a feat that remains unmatched and visible to date.
