Never Grow Up

Each season #TableSettingIsMyLife designs holiday window displays for local shops and businesses. This year, the tradition was brought home. Who needs 5^th Avenue when you can enjoy a whimsical scene from your own living room? 

So come with me, where dreams are born, and time is never planned. Just think of happy things, and your heart will fly on wings, forever, in Never Never Land! 

Inspired by the pirate ship gifted to me by my own adventurous companion, a world of magic is brought to life with simple white paper silhouette of a fantastical flight from the second star to the right, then strait on 'til morning. 

And of course, Neverland is not just for wayward children, fairies, pirates, and mermaids... 

Our feline housemates, John Qunicy Adams and Little Miss Martin Van Buren tower over London, no doubt dreaming of a place where all the dangers of adulthood responsibilities vanish into the night sky.  

Here's to Happy Thoughts! May you too never grow up.
