DIY Interactive Road Map
Buckle up! This craft is taking us for a ride. Before I drive you nuts with my road trip puns... let's load up the car with the supplies we need to make this fun interactive road map.
Materials & Supplies
- Markers or Crayons
- Scissors
- Tape
- Transparent Paper
- Roadmap Template
Music for Crafting
No road trip would be complete without the perfect companion music!
Song: On the Road Again
Artist: Willie Nelson
Step 1 Put Yourself on the Map
Print, cut and color in the road map template. Don't forget to color and cut your little car too!
Step 2 On the Road
Roll the map into a cylinder, lining up the roads. Then tape together. I found it helpful to add a piece of tape to the back of the map first (see in full tutorial video below).
Step 3 Get in Gear
Cut a piece of transparent paper, about 2 inches wide and long enough to fit around your road map. Tape into a ring and tape your car to that ring. Then slide onto the paper cylinder.
Beep! Beep! Let's hit the road.
