From Centerpieces to Showstoppers: How a Paper Flower Dress Stole the Spotlight

Ah, the glamorous world of wedding planning and PR stunts! Allow me to share the whimsical tale of how my paper flower dress mannequins stole the spotlight at the Red Bank River Center's annual Wedding Walk at Two River Theater.

For years I had fun creating my paper flower dress centerpieces. Then one year, inspiration struck during a caffeine-fueled brainstorming session: "What if I made a life-size paper flower dress for the mannequin?"

Here's where things get amusing. Cassie, our ever enthusiastic PR rep from Social Sidekick, happened to be the same size as the mannequin. Naturally, we had to try the dress on her.

The fit was perfect, and the effect was magical. We then scheduled a photo shoot with the talented Matt Yee, capturing Cassie posing in the whimsical white paper flower creation.

The pièce de résistance? LittleThings.com discovered our paper flower dress and invited us to do a live stream.

The fabulous Roxy Garrity wore the dress on camera, bringing our creation to a wider audience. Who knew that a simple idea and some paper could lead to such fun, laughter, and a touch of wedding magic?

The legend of the paper flower dress lives on, a testament to what can happen when you prioritize the fun in life. Big thanks to Cassie for always saying yes to unknown adventures.
