Halloween Trick-or-Treat Adventure Map - DIY Instant Download Instructions

Embark on a spooktacular journey with our "Halloween Trick-or-Treat Adventure Map" crafting project! Perfect for kids who love to explore their artistic side, this digital download provides a fun and interactive activity. Children can color in the Halloween-themed neighborhood and the trick-or-treaters, cut them out, and then move the trick-or-treaters along the path for endless imaginative play.


Materials & Supplies 

Step 1: Color the Neighborhood

Use your favorite colors to decorate the neighborhood on the map. Feel free to unleash your creativity and choose whatever colors you prefer!

Step 2: Snip & Roll


Carefully cut along the large dotted lines around the map's edge. Roll the map into a cylinder lengthwise, ensuring the bottom layer is tucked underneath. Align the roads and tape the edges together to secure the cylinder shape.

Step 3: Put a Ring On It 

Cut a strip of transparent paper about 2 inches wide, and long enough to wrap around your map. I used some clear plastic packaging from my last amazon purchase. 

Step 4: Dress Up the Trick-or-Treaters

Color in the trick-or-treater illustrations at the top of page 2. Then cut them out carefully. Tape each character to the transparent paper ring.

Step 5: Assemble the Map and Ring

Slide the transparent ring, now decorated with trick-or-treaters, around the cylinder. You may need to adjust the ring and tape placement to ensure it fits smoothly.

Alternative Using the Template

  • Instructions:

    • If you're using the template instead of transparent paper, follow the same coloring and cutting process.

    • Cut along the straight lines instead of around the trick-or-treaters.
