A Creative Highlight: Red Bank Oktoberfest and the Debut of the "Coloring Biergarten"

The vibrant atmosphere of last year's Red Bank Oktoberfest was truly unforgettable, as I had the opportunity to once again bring my creative touch to the family-friendly activity area. However, this year, I took it a step further by introducing the "Coloring Biergarten”, featuring my handmade giant paper flowers to bring the garden into the biergarten.

This year, I added a few exciting elements to enhance the coloring experience. The paper covers for the tables, which have become quite popular, are now available on my Etsy store. These covers provide a creative canvas for both children and adults to express their artistic sides.

The "Coloring Biergarten" quickly became a hub of creativity and connection at the festival. Children and adults alike flocked to the area. The giant paper flowers added a whimsical touch, creating an inviting atmosphere where festival-goers could relax and let their artistic spirits shine. Seeing families and friends gather around to color and chat was a heartwarming sight, reinforcing the sense of community that the Red Bank Oktoberfest so beautifully fostered.

Additionally, around the crayon and pencil jars, I included my Oktoberfest tags, which are also available as an instant download on my Etsy shop. These small touches added a personalized feel to the experience and have been well-received by festival-goers.

Meeting up with a bunch of friends was a highlight of the day. We all had a fantastic time soaking in the lively atmosphere. The festival offered something for everyone, ensuring a great time was had by all, including my family, who particularly loved the vibrant and enthusiastic live music.

We all had a fantastic time soaking in the lively atmosphere. One of the standout features of the festival was the live music, provided by none other than the Philadelphia German Brass Band, one of the best oompah bands in the Northeast. Their spirited performance added an authentic touch to the Oktoberfest experience, transporting attendees to the heart of Bavaria with their traditional sounds and lively tunes.

Make Your Own Beer Goggles

A must have item for every household. I made my beer goggles out of a broken pair of sunglasses and a few pieces of paper. And now you can be as cool as me! Here is a link to the beer goggle template. Simply cut out the image and glue to tape to glasses. Then walk around your home like the awesome person you are.
