Transforming the Backyard into a Biergarten

Our backyard was a canvas for creativity, decked out with vibrant decorations. I recreated the beloved "Coloring Biergarten" from last year's Red Bank Oktoberfest. This area became a gathering spot for guests to relax, chat, and let their creative juices flow.

Oktoberfest Apron Dress: A Touch of Tradition

One of the most charming creations was the Oktoberfest costume apron I crafted for my daughter. The apron dresses are not only adorable but also surprisingly easy to make, even for beginners. I have been making these apron dresses since 2012, ten years before I had a kid. I can't tell you how absolutely thrilled I am to have a daughter who loves wearing them!

Our party's cart was a standout feature, draped in a fabric cover made from leftover materials from the costume apron. It was stocked with an array of playful accessories, including colorful Oktoberfest paper straws, party favors, and delightful treats.
