Crafting Instructions
Step 1 Baking with Cardboard
Cut out all the house template pieces. Trace onto any left over cardboard (perfect to help get rid of the shipping boxes).
From your cardboard cut:
2 Roof
2 Wall
2 Front/Back (the one with the peak)
1 Front Door
Step 2 Building a House
To assemble your home, glue one wall piece to the sides of the front and back pieces. Repeat with the other wall piece.
Then attach your roof to the top by aligning on the peak of the house and gluing onto the frame.
Step 3 Crafting a House into a Home
To decorate your holiday home, you can use whatever material you have on hand. Crafting is about making use of what you have! I cut paper straws in half and glued to the sides to create a candy cane look. I used white felt for a snowy roof top and added some red pip cleaners, Christmas stickers, pom poms, and a few old beads.
I don't know what it is about this little cardboard house, but every time I see it across the room - it just makes me smile. About Craft Along with Katie
