Crafting with Autumn: A DIY Fall Suncatcher

In this video tutorial, you'll learn how to create vibrant suncatchers using our specially designed Autumn Suncatcher Set. Follow along as I guide you through each step. Display your creation in a sunny window and enjoy the warm, glowing colors all season long.

Materials Needed

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Autumn Suncatcher Craft Kit

Step-by-Step Instructions for Creating an Autumn Suncatcher

  1. Prepare the Outlines:

    • Each suncatcher design comes with two black outlines: a top and a bottom. Choose which outline will serve as the base.

  2. Build Your Base:

    • Take the bottom outline and apply glue to the edges.

    • Place a piece of tissue paper larger enough to cover the area. If using multiple colors, make sure it doesn’t overlap with the other color sections; trim any excess if necessary.

    • Once the glue is dry, carefully trim around the edges of the entire design

  3. Add Layered Colors:

    • Tear a few pieces of each color tissue paper.

    • Use glue to layer them over the design.

  4. Attach the Top Outline:

    • Once satisfied with your layers, attach the top black outline layer, aligning all edges as closely as possible.

  5. Display Your Suncatcher:

    • Proudly display your completed suncatcher in a window to enjoy the vibrant colors illuminated by sunlight.
