Before diving into our dino crafting adventuregather the following materials:

Materials Needed

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Template

  1. Find a Dinosaur Template: Search for a template that suits your desired dinosaur look, or use one of the #TableSettingIsMyLife templates found on Etsy.

Step 2: Cut Out the Template

  1. Cut the Dino Body: Carefully cut along the black lines of the dinosaur body.

  2. Cut the Dino Mouth: Next, cut out the bottom jaw or mouth piece.

  3. Cut the Dino Teeth: Finally, cut out both sets of dinosaur teeth.

Step 3: Assemble the Dinosaur Puppet

Prepare the Clothespin: Open the clothespin and apply glue to both sides of the opening.

Attach the Dino Teeth: Align and place both sets of teeth on top of the glued surfaces of the clothespin.
Glue the Dino Jaw: Attach the dino jaw to the bottom set of teeth, aligning the edges carefully.
Attach the Dino Head and Body: Apply glue to the top set of teeth and a small amount on the metal spring. Align and attach the dino head and body, ensuring the mouth aligns with the teeth.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

  • Let your dinosaur puppet dry completely. If using school glue, you may need to wait a few minutes before each step to allow glue to dry.

  • Once dry, open and close the clothespin to see your dinosaur puppet come to life!

And there you have it—your very own dinosaur puppet, ready to roar! Thanks for crafting with us. Don’t forget to check out more of our crafting adventures.
